Originally named Ocean Park Heights, the Mar Vista, Palms area is located in the 90066 zipcode. The neighborhood was originally home to basic, low-cost homes, but as tourism and the surrounding areas of Culver City and Venice Beach grew, so did the property value. Still, the area remains an affordable pocket in an increasingly pricey area, making this neighborhood a desirable, but relatively untapped market.
Parks and Rec
In addition to smaller parks around the neighborhood, Mar Vista houses a large Recreation Center which features an auditorium, BBQ pits, multiple sports fields, lighted indoor basketball courts, an indoor gym, a children's play area, picnic tables, and an outdoor pool.
